Our Barley label declares crude protein content, and not Amino Acid content/Pre-Digested Protein Content.
Reason for that is because the barley is actually sprouted seeds and the protein it contains is actually in the form of pure amino acids.
This is good because the body does not have to break down the protein and then rebuild it as you would with another source.
Yes you can split the scoop into 2 parts if you like and eventually once you build up to it you can take 2 scoops a day if you would like.
But when doing this you would start taking the second scoop in accordance with the ease in instructions.
