How to Get Your Gelcaps Unstuck

If you receive a bottle where the capsules have fused together, please try these community-tested solutions:

• The Refrigerator Method: Place the sealed bottle in your refrigerator for several hours or overnight. This helps the gelatin shells firm up and lose their tackiness. Once cooled, give the bottle a firm tap on a counter or a vigorous shake to see if they separate.
• The Corn Starch Trick: If the capsules are still slightly tacky after cooling, try adding a small "pinch" of corn starch to the bottle. Gently shake the bottle so the starch coats the capsules; this often provides enough of a barrier to allow them to slide apart easily. Some of our customers have even used a pinch of our BOOMER BOOST product and it has helped with separating them.
• The Gentle Tap: Sometimes, a firm "thump" of the bottom of the bottle against the palm of your hand or a padded surface is all that is needed once the bottle has returned to room temperature.

Note: Please avoid using tools (like knives or tweezers) to pry the capsules apart, as this can puncture the delicate shells and lead to leaks.

How to Prevent Sticking at Home

Once you have your supplements, a few simple storage steps will keep them in peak condition:

• Store in a Cool, Dry Place: Always keep your bottles away from direct sunlight, windowsills, or hot vehicles.
• Avoid Humidity: While it may be convenient, the bathroom and kitchen are often the most humid rooms in a home. Excessive moisture can degrade the capsule walls over time.
• Keep the Lid Tight: Ensure the cap is fully secured after every use to maintain the internal environment of the bottle.
